Consulting kick-off!

Began in the CIO advisory business unit, and then moved into a hybrid SAP consultant role at KPMG's SAP Center of Excellence. 

Client experience highlights of my time at KPMG: 

1. IBEX-35 Telecommunications Organisation
   Developed an OData service to be consumed by an AI model for automated invoice processing, supporting an estimated €10M in annual invoice volume automation.

2. IBEX-35 Energy Organisation
   Built SAP Build Process Automation bots in SAP BTP to extract daily FX and interest rates from the European Central Bank via API and upload them to S/4HANA.

3. IBEX-35 Energy Organisation
   Implemented S/4HANA extensibility with custom ABAP logic in sourcing & procurement apps.

4. Leading Spanish Life Sciences Organisation
   Developed a Python script for data migration validation between SAP MM tables in R/3 and S/4HANA, enabling effort reallocation valued at +€250K.

5. Andorran Public Sector Organisation
   Provided general maintenance services, including the development of new Z-reports in ABAP, legacy bug fixes, SAP FI parametrization, and SAP BASIS administration.

6. Spanish Food and Beverage Organisation
   Designed and implemented warehouse labels (SAP Smartform) with annual print volume of ≈13,000 units.

7. Spanish Real Estate Services Organisation
   Creation and delivery of over 15 client deliverables during CIO advisory services, including 'AS-IS', 'TO-BE' and 'TO-DO' proposals for SAP migration strategies.

Additionally, I had the opportunity to participate in an SAP Partner program that began in June 2024 an lasted until November 2024:

1. SAP Next Level AI Program, in which we developed both a use case including SAP Business AI and its business plan, presented to SAP peers at the SAP office in Barcelona (keep reading to learn more!).

SAP Next Level AI | SAP Business AI Hands-On Programme

6-Month Hands-On Programme under KPMG | June - November 2024 | Barcelona (Spain)

Kicking-off my SAP Business AI journey!

At KPMG, we began our SAP Next Level AI programme with the objective of developing SAP Business AI use cases in SAP BTP, leveraging the entire SAP Business AI solutions portfolio. 

The programme included an initial two-day academy sessions, in which we covered:

1. SAP Build Code to develop full-stack applications leveraging Joule's co-pilot capabilities.

2. Generative AI capabilities with SAP AI Launchpad and SAP AI Core (SAP Generative AI Hub).

Next, we carried out an innovation workshop in which we brainstormed potential use cases to be developed in the following months. The development included:

1. Designing the application to be developed in SAP BTP, both functionally and technically.

2. Designing the user interface of the application to be developed.

3. Developed the front-end using SAP Build Apps.

4. Integrated our AI models with our application.

Finally,  we carried out pitch sessions at SAP's Barcelona offices, in which our use case was selected as Top #1 Most Innovative SAP Business AI Use Case of the day, out of 5 presented.

Data Analyst at HP

First Internship Experience (Barcelona, Spain) | January - September 2023 | Barcelona (Spain)

First professional experience!

During these 8 months, I worked in the Customer Assurance department of the 3D Printing Solutions business unit. Accomplishments of my time at HP include:

1. Extracted, processed, visualized, and presented customer-related data in newsletter format for informational purposes, serving over 500 colleagues.

2. Engineered Python automation for a MS Excel reporting process, bringing the completion time from 72 hours to approximately a 10-minute long execution, resulting in a remarkable 99% performance improvement.

3. Automatised forms in MS Excel by implementing a macro (VBA), with an estimated yearly usage of 250 executions.

4. Provided cross-departmental support by maintaining monthly reports and forecasts.

5. Co-led continuous improvement initiatives through machine diagnostics analysis.

Choosing HP as the first step in my career was an incredibly accurate decision given the amazing work culture of the organisation.

Higher Education

Double Degree Qualification in International Computer Engineering and Management of Business and Technology 

September 2018 - June 2025 | Barcelona (Spain)
Two international degrees at once: computer engineering and management of business and technology. Throughout these years, I have been trained on a wide spectrum of technical and business matters. Furthermore, given the international nature of the programme, I had the privilege to internationalize my learning journey with different business and engineering study trips around the globe (Shanghai, San Francisco, Tokyo...).

Additionally, my final computer engineering thesis was graded 10/10 with honors:

• Computer Engineering Thesis: "Aira: AI-Powered BIM Assistant for Architect-to-Model Interaction".

Problem-Solving | Workshops at SIT (Tokyo, Japan)

Workshop Sessions in Tokyo (Japan) | Hosted by the Shibaura Institute of Technology | Feburary 2023

SIT hosted us during our visit to Tokyo, and provided us with a group of local students to accompany us in our days. At this workshop, we had the chance to exchange experiences and develop potential future international business partners.
Truly an enriching, fantastic experience that had a long-lasting impact in me. Looking very forward to revisiting Japan in the future.

Saint Mary's College of California hosted a thought-sharing session during our visit to their campus. During this session, we discussed the importance of positivity in any business setting in order to drive for the best outcome for oneself and the team. 

Doing Business in China | Workshop at Fudan University (Shanghai, China)

Fudan University School of Management hosted us during our visit to Shanghai, and provided us with a workshop to discuss the challenges for foreign enterprises to operate in the Chinese market, given the cultural differences with the West. It definitely served its purpose and expanded our cultural horizons, crucial in today's global business context.
